...but where were they going without ever knowing the way?

It occured to me that school will be coming up soon again. Maybe I realized it when I was at the theatre today and saw one of my classmates (speaking of which, PotC 2 was pretty good, but the cliff hanger is still bugging me...), or maybe I've just been thinking too much lately. One way or another, I will get stuck back into a high school for my junior year. Where I go to school, sex is entirely normal, and most people find that getting drunk or wasted is the only form of entertainment. Morals don't exist, which puts me out of most any party out here. That's right, I don't give in to the revelry and debauchery that most teens do. Not much of a point to it, really...

Probably the part that I hate the most is how much girls are taken advantage of out here. They feel like they need to have a boyfriend, and most of the guys out here are really not worth the effort. They're raised in the country, but are convinced that they're "gangstas" and "playas" and come off as entirely pathetic. You're really better off not seeing it. In any case, most of the girls (most) are actually nice out here. They just get taken advantage of terribly by the guys, and don't realize it. They think it's perfectly normal by the time freshman year is over. I'm in my junior year, and by now most of the girls have thrown their insecurities to the wind and don't care what happens. They're nice, really, but one could say that they've been brainwashed.
