Bored

Why else would I be here? I had an online journal before. I stopped writing in it. Typing in it. Whatever. It's like 11:20 at night, I'm not completely coherent. As far as I'm concerned, it's Summer anyway, so I don't need to be in the coherent mind set. In fact, I'd rather not even be forced to think right now. Life's much easier when you don't have to worry about life's hassles, and you can just kick back and ignore everything around you. Unfortunately, times like that are few and far between. People often don't take advantage of times like these, and get extremely stressed out, and then whine about how terrible their lives are, especially in like a, oh, y'know, a blog.

I'm content with my life. It's late at night, I'm already getting on a ranting tirade to myself specifically, I've been watching Red Vs. Blue episodes, drinking caffeine free ginger ale (Yes, you heard me), and pretty much not giving a care, which is fairly easy since most everyone is already asleep here. That's one of the things I hate: people care waaaay too much. Now, I'm not saying that being apathetic all of the time will solve any problems. The real problem comes when people let every little thing get to them and live each day like they're gonna die tomorrow. I have a friend who's gotten in some real relationship problems, and all he does is beat himself up daily and be a general angsty teen. Seriously, lighten up man...Life doesn't need to be taken in leaps and bounds. Sometimes, living in the moment is the last thing you need. If you just take a moment to sit back, take a deep breath, and look at everyone around you, you'll realize just how pathetic human nature has become, especially in places like high school. I value a good education, which is why I intend to go to college. I do not value having to deal with these intricate interwoven wild alcohol-induced teen relationships. If you're lucky, you might find the love of your life. But, let's be realistic: unless you really enjoy dating, you're probably wasting your time. Personally, I don't really date. It's not worth the effort. If I find someone who "clicks", then I'll be good. I'm 16, I'm in no hurry. Like I said, I'm content with my life.

Can you say the same?
